That's a good question. I'm not sure because I never converted a ski. You would need to ask someone who has done a build like that. I got my ebox in mint condition for 85$ plus shipping. Well worth it!

Go on eBay and buy a new one, that's what I did and saved me tons of time. The goal is to make it reliable as possible. Just slapping a band aid on it will help it for a little while, but then it will crap out in a year or two.

There could possibly be bad fuel pressure. If you can try double checking everything out to see if it's good. Then go for a rebuilt on the carb if that doesn't work. If all else fails, get a sbn carb and call it a day

So is it basically cracking open the case in the back of the engine bay that holds the Driveshaft and replacing a couple of rubber seals?

I run a top loader intake and a tr racing extended skegged ride plate. No problems with the ski cavitating on me. I usually jump wakes with my friends and have no problem with it plowing through the wave
