i got lucky.i was able to save the flywheel. it ate into some of the teeth.made the teeth really sharp. but i filed them down to where they should be.it could have cost me hundreds of $s. the starter was just wizzing when i hit the button. it wasnt engaging the bendix.lucky for me.

When I was bench testing my total loss, I tried shorting the two green wires to get a spark from coil. It didn't work until I hooked up the trigger and passed the magnet over it. Didn't make sense, but that's what happened.

Instead of touching the two wires together, try hooking up the two wires to the pickup and passing a magnet over the pickup.

probably going to be my realistic option. just hope it puts out the same blue monster spark that my msd procoil did.
