I have a SJ - but if your just learning and you want a more stable platform I'd go for the SXR. I had a 650sx before my SJ. I like Kawi - your call. Those prices are great compared to up here in Canada. I don't think you can go wrong for $3000 on that ski. If after a year you find that you want...
Its cool the way it is - The front logo large or small on side of chest area?
(no RonnyMac skull?)
Gona have ladies - tapered cut sizes for the wives/girlfriends/mistresses?
Actually kinda liking the blue color - unique - again we don't want too light a color that could get wrecked when we wrench?! $15 or less shipped is good eats...I'd be in for a couple few at that price.
SO ? ! Weres the input - I know what could have happened I know what I could have done if it was water and or the pumps were hooked up - but what about damage to wiring.hull bottom.bilges? Anyone?
Set my Attwood Tsunami Bilge is place couple days ago for dry fit test. Went back today and noticed my primer lines were off and the bottom of the boat was 2 inches full of gas!!:17::chairshot::aargh4:
So I pulled the bildge out(wasn't attached) and the lower cage is now pink and alittle...
I went from a mod'd Kawi 650sx to an 07 SJ - why - hmm I wanted something new and I didn't like the 800SX and because everyone said to.
Can I ride my SJ? After only about 4-5 hrs on it, still no. Its like I'm starting over again. I'm getting ready to cut the pole and put some Rev footholds...
Took the EBox and coupling cover out to install Bilges - that cover needed? Aside from 'protecting' your fingers when its running ? - like I'm gonna have my fingers down in there?
But how does it handle?
So we never heard how it handled? or even seen pics of the finished turfed ski? Anyone else ever buy you extra trays?
What about side wall stiffness/strength? i.s if one was to fall on the edges?
The fact that your asking us and going ahead and getting it done - is far from clueless. Good for you. What more could we ask for then have our wives take interest.:bananajump:
Dude - saw an old post of yours. Did you get dinged by customs with your Blowison order? Did you get those drop in hand holds? And did you buy underpad, glue/fiber glass dope supplies from around here?
Canadian Insurance
I pay about $375 for the year. Based on a valu of $5000 for ski - which is low as its was new in the fall of 2007.
Liability of $500,000 or a million I forget right now. But that covers fire/theft/any damage. With I think $500 dollar deductable.
