thats about where i set mine. it looks like in all the photo's i have seen the mark on the stator looks like it is lined up with the bottom shoulder were the timing mark on the case is. i also measure and thats where it came out at.

i am mostly concerned about the fluwheel mark and case mark are from two different setups. and i dont know if they are all the same? o yeah and there is one one mark on each i think i can eyeball it with a ruler and get close to 3mm though.

i wont know the compression till i get her back togather but i'm guessing it will be 175-180

also the flywheel and stator came out of a 6m6 so can i still use the marks on the cases and sator to set my timing? or since they are different setups would this matter?
