So how long into the ride did you do that?

I have 62T Cylinders. Instead of drilling out manifold, we just installed threaded inserts. I didn't want to limit my use of the manifold, incase I switched to 61X cylinders. I haven't been to Smith in awhile. Recently my husband and have be going to the river in Rainbow City.

Is the XL700 Cylinders 62T or 61X? I forget. If they are 61x Cly no need to drill out the manifold. or If they are 62T Cyl you have the option putting in threaded inserts for the smaller size so you won't have to punch out the manifold. Where do you ride? Smith, Logan Martin, ???

From the description you gave of the underside of the hull and of the impeller. I wouldn't be surprised to find the stator section missing a few chunks too. Fortunately those are all easy fixes. All in all it still a fine score.

The Stock 08' Stainless Prop will be a great improvement over the damaged one. If her prop has chunks out of it what does here Stator veins look like?
