On those carbs with the taamper caps, you need to remove them so you can turn the carb adjustment screws some more. Just take a small screw driver or pick and pop them off. They just press over the ends of the screws.
Jonh where do you get those cool Japan parts from. I have browsed all the websites but I need a one stop shop place to order/import them from that is easy and painless. Well except for the cost. Most peopel say Hiro from Fennec in California...
I agree and disagree. I saw a thread years back on PWCT where the guy was trailering his 750 SX or SXi to the water and it started up on its own. It basically melted everything down inside the engine and engine compartment because it ran so hot for so long without cooling water. He had the...
Yeah he does look like he put on some weight since he quit racing. He was in great shape two years ago. When he first turned pro he was heavier set. I was suprised he lost so much weight. Looks like he has put it back on. But hey who am I to talk, I am out of shape myself but with a lot less...
The local shop told me about that place. The guy who has been working there for years told em it is pretty sick.
I just bought myself a Gary Fisher Mullet. Retail is 819.99 and I got it for 725 plus tax since I spent so much money at the shop on BMX parts back in the day. I can't...
Reed has a 5 point lead now. First place is 25 points, second is 22. So if Stewart pulls a 1-1-1 and Reed a 2-2-2 the last three races, Stewart will win the title by 4 points.
Reed MUST Win at leats one race to keep the pressure on Stewart. I still think Reed will win only because james is...
Kawasaki will sell you the 650 X2 manual for the 650 SX. I went through this with them because I ordered a service manual for my 650 SX back when I had one. Well they sent me the 650 X2 manual. I was ticked because I already had a 650 X2 manual and had to pay return shipping and restocking...
Mat, I copied and pasted the Renthal chart into Excel. Then I just divided each measurement by 25.4 to convert all the measurements from milimeters to inches.
But yeah tire sizes confuse me as well. I normally just Google a tire size converter...
Yep, spot on. I hate easy outs! But I did over tighten a bolt a few times and broke the head off. They did work to get those bolts out.
Those Craftsman drill bits have worked good for me too.
But if something is seized, I never even attempt it.
It may look the same, but they take a cyclical loading each time the piston comes to TDC and BDC. It stresses it in wone way and then the reverse. That leads to fatigue and failure. It also was probably bent a little when it was removed from the piston. I personally wouldn't chance it.
I...
I would take the cylinder off and have a machine shop mill out the bolt and instal a timesert. 9 times out of 10 I have broke off easy outs. That is a lot worse than the broken off bolt...
