Anyone own a duel sport bike?

You’ll have a blast with that bike. Wear a little backpack with a hydro pack inside for the long rides. Pack some granola bars. If your in a lot of dirt trails, ride with 12-15 psi in both tires. On the road around 20-22. Makes a huge difference with tire pressure especially in the dirt. I’ll...

    RN Superflip Build

I would remove it in 1 piece if possible. Leave about 1” in the front when you go across so you can lay a decent layer of glass when your done. Do 1” from the top curve and side curve also. Basically will be a big U when you get done.

    2008 Yamaha SuperJet “SOLD”

I got a chance to get out for about an hour today on the river. Ski is running great. Still some time to ride if anyone is interested

    2008 Superjet "The Basketcase" Build

Hey guys, went out today on the river and got some more tray time. Turns and stability are getting better but I’m far from where I was. One issue I see that I’m having is getting use to the zero degree bars. What widths do you guys use? Mine feel wide to me somewhat. Maybe I have to cut them in...

    3.3M Mini Jet Boat Build

Absolutely nuts. I don’t think I could be in that thing without wearing any kind of helmet, or even a harness to keep me strapped in.

Remember the smallest car is still bigger than you. Just be cautious. Be aware of your surroundings. I’m constantly checking my mirrors. Even if it’s a blitz.

Anyone own a duel sport bike?

Looks like a stock one for a “R” model.

Anyone own a duel sport bike?

Sportbike technology. Lol. Basically a single cylinder Cbr. Just imagine what a new fuel injection mix bike rides like. They are very hi tech now. The new Yamaha yz’s can be tuned from your smart phone. Best mods for that bike are exhaust, jetted with a jd jet kit or equivalent, air filter that...

    2008 Yamaha SuperJet “SOLD”

Lol, thanks. I did have fun resurrecting it. Long process. Should have been done 2 years ago but I had some life stuff come up. But it got done. I’m glad I built it instead of parting the pieces out. I pulled this ski out of the crate when the dealer I worked for sold it to the customer from...

    2008 Yamaha SuperJet “SOLD”

Well I didn’t want to do it but had to look towards the future a little. Realistically I’m not going to ride it as much as it should. Hopefully someone can enjoy it more than I would. 2008 Yamaha Superjet Rebuilt motor: crank, seals, fresh bore, pistons Rebuilt carbs: genuine mikuni kits, primer...

New stand-up coming to N. America (not what you think)

The article was saying they have been working a lot with military operations and also departments like fish and game but are trying to get into the custom market.

Anyone own a duel sport bike?

There’s 3 models of the drz also. A off-road only version. Will have a tighter gear range. The true dualsport version and super moto. Their gearing will be more aimed for street travel. My ktm 530 excr is the same way. I put the off-road gearing on it. Tops out almost at 90mph. And it’s scary...

Forgot about another bike. It’s not out yet but maybe for 2020. Yup it’s a Harley

Anyone own a duel sport bike?

The long highway rides on some of these bikes are not very comfortable after an hour anyways. A good thing to look at if you want to do more road driving than usual is maybe looking into a set of super moto rim sets. Usually for around $1000, you can get both rims with tires along with a...

Anyone own a duel sport bike?

Lol, yeah those older ktms were good woods bikes and that’s about it. Any of the 250’s are slow compared to any off the bigger bikes. Only one that feels like a bigger bike is the Yamaha wr250x. Based off the yzf engine somewhat but it taps out early n screams down a highway.

New stand-up coming to N. America (not what you think)

Just got my new powersports business magazine in the mail. There’s a stand-up that has been built in Canada for several years now and has been over seas but not in the states. It’s not what you are probably thinking though. The company is called the DTV Motor Company. The stand-up is actually an...

Anyone own a duel sport bike?

In the dual sport category there are so many options. It all depends what you are looking for. The VStrom is perfect for riding like a normal street bike around town n highways. You can add touring bags to it n a windshield for the long trips. Even can do 2 up on it. Dirt roads it will be fine...
