    I defoamed a RN with the stock aluminum exhaust tube. It was waterlogged and over time the corroded pin holes in the pipe. The waterlines were starting to do the same. Ever since then I spring for good stainless. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Just finished a fun job of stripping the powder coat off of one of mine that has seen better days. I know the normal route is to throw some high temp paint on them. Has anyone ran one raw, do they hold up? I see that wax is selling them raw. Wonder if just some high temp clearcoat would work...

    Thanks for the info! I noticed the same thing on the engine tear downs, R50 always left in the film on the metal and I rarely had any issues. I never would’ve thought of mixing it with skicraft but that sounds like a good thing to try. What’s weird is I didn’t get a lot of carbon buildup with it...

    Agreed, but I have no real data to share other than my vague memory that we ran the mod pipe on ported superstocks over the limited back when 2 strokes ruled racing. Limited was definitely better on a stock motor. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
