Arnolds motor supply will put better paints in cans for those who dont have guns or a compressor. U can also buy a "spray gun end" for it which can provide more consistency.
I bought a sn hull with an aftermarket pole intake grate and ride plate for 300 bucks minus the motor. If you can find a hull that is complete minus the motor for 2-300 you would have a lot less invested even after its shipped
It might work as a part time business. I think the best way to do it would be to make a run once a month moving no less than 8 skis bikes etc at what...average of 300 for delivery obviously varying by distance.
$2400 gross then you have expenses: Gas insurance taxes. figure at least...
Watch and play football(nothing like playing ball in the snow), take ski apart and clean everything, sand, repaint etc. I actually kinda like the break from riding(makes it that much more fun when the weather warms up)
Yeh I guess when the market is small(compared to other sports) they have to get as much out of each sale as possible. I'd be interested to see how many ski pipes they sell a year.
I don't know if they would even be interested but it seems about 100 people on this site and pwct are interested in a factory pipe but either A) Can't muster the strength to shell out that kinda cash for it or B) Don't have the money to do so. I think if they could get the price down to around...
I see no reason to get upset about a guy selling stands. Some people just want to buy something ready made and get it over with. Its not worth the time to make something like that unless you can turn a decent profit on it. If you dont want it dont buy it.....Its like complaining about gas...
I actually came across it when i was getting my top end rebuilt on my blaster. He owns a business called Bests powerhouse ( they work on waverunners and sleds). I dont know if he will take less because he knows the pole was expensive but i will see what i can get it for. Thanks
hmm thats a tough one. I have both but I usually ride the blaster....I like to race around a course with it but its also nice for exploring rivers etc. you can get blasters for cheap this time of year but in the summer they have good value and will hold for a good amount of time.
