I've rode two skis with Thrustone 155's and they're a great pump, especially for the price. One I upgraded from a Solas 148 for a guy with an ET967 and it was a very noticeable improvement.
I've rode XFS comp's with both and I'm not a fan of the upsweep one. Not nearly as much height on flips and turning back to attack your wave is a lot harder, you have to really try hard to keep the nose down or I was just falling over backwards when I tried to turn around to attack the wave.
I just swapped domes for a buddy, bumped compression and added a couple degrees of timing to run 50/50 race gas and it was a noticeable power increase.
This crank had only a few hours on it. I didn’t put loctite on the flywheel bolt and the bolt backed out and messed up the keyway and snout a bit. Put it back together and ran it for another hour or so and something in the crank let go and it went out of phase as you can see in the pics. Went...
I completely agree with this, I run a 9/16 with my 1107 in a mag pump and it's perfect. 13/19 worked great for me in an OEM pump, which is what he said he's running.
