I just saw this one in the parts section. https://www.x-h2o.com/threads/rrp-rear-mounted-tank.207771/unread

    Winter Composites Fun

Great idea and nice DIY. Is it pretty much like the outside scoop just mounted to the bottom of your hood?

Can't install mag pump with new pump to shoe seal

Are you positive the seal is not backwards? I've done that before. I had it flipped and it was sandwiching between the pump shoe and pump instead of fitting around on the outside of the pump.

WTB: Thrust Innovations Steering Nozzle for 148mm

My stock plastic nozzle broke. Before buying new, does anyone have a Thrust nozzle laying around?

    Klotz skicraft smell

No one really answered your original question yet, which is: yes you can smell it while you're riding. You'll be going around a lake or wherever circling back to where you just were. Good smell.

    This ad is so confusing.

    Air leak

Following. I don't think the reeds are expected to be completely air tight. When I pressure tested, the kit that I borrowed had a block off plate for the entire intake manifold.

    SOLD Rickter XFR Ninja Competition

I'm sure you're hoping to sell it all as a package deal, but if you would separate the beach cart and ship I am curious on the price.

    Ski Tiger Craft

A clean looking SV Pro with a 61x was listed on Facebook today (I am not affiliated). It is in the Everything Stand Up Jet Ski group, posted by Kanon Kurtz.

    IS it true

Fogging oil coats the internals of the engine with oil so that moisture doesn't rust bearings/cylinders, etc. I fog through the carb and also directly in the cylinder, then put plugs back in.

    Rrp !

I agree with drilling it and using bushings, I have done it on Krash for the steering and trim, and RRP for steering. I just ran out and looked at the RRP trim and you might have trouble fitting a flanged bushing at the trim pivot with it's tight clearances. There also doesn't seem to be enough...

    Riding in socks

Socks for sure. I couldn't stand the sand getting in and grinding my feet. I used just some thin neoprene ones from amazon for a few years until they got holes in them. Now I have a good pair of 2mm socks that make my Asics a tighter squeeze, but the warmth is great.

    Daytona Covid-asking for a friend

Funny you bring this up now about last year. Yamanube and myself both caught something nasty last year at Daytona 2020 (a few days before actually). I was completely down for the entire freeride, stuck in bed so bad that it was hard to even walk down the hall to the bathroom. The bad stuff...

Jet maniac lay down pipe water box

Adding another positive review to this thread. I just had a chance to test my JM laydown box in Daytona. I swapped from an RRP box also after reading about the problems with water ingestion, not to mention noise. After the ski sat on shore with waves crashing into the rear, and then lifting the...

Foam for heel locks and wedges

Hopefully I'm not hijacking this thread too much... I am re-turfing my XFS and have to replace the foam under the footholds, which was a thick white foam before but it broke down and split in half. Are the yoga blocks good for full time standing? The rear would be about 2" thick and I don't want...

Surfriding Krash Pump Tunnel Scupper Replacement

Nice job! This could almost warrant its own thread because that is very helpful. I was always under the understanding that this versiplug was specifically made for the rear-exit hulls. In those it is a direct fit.
