So if you could do a flip on a sitdown then they would be better than a standup?? Personally I see guys on standups doing flips all the time... It is way more impressive on a sitdown (have seen it in person)
sounds like a decent deal to me... price will very depending on where you are! in seattle its hard to find a nice 750 or SJ so I would expect to pay a little more than other places that have a larger selection.
Fact is if you like the ski and are willing to pay the asking price... then...
So I should hate you becasue you drive a car?? doesnt take any skill to do that and I ride a bike... So its naturall that I should hate you? And trust me even a fat guy can ride a standup!
And sorry but a standup is not hard to ride...
I think the problem is most standup ridders have little man sindrome..... It shows by how most of them hate sitdowns.... envy is usally showed in the way of hate ;-) if you start falling off they might come talk to you so they can brag about how cool they are!
I dont see what is wrong with that video :-) I would love to try that (on someone elses ski) and maybe with a little deaper water on the landing.. the fact is standups are nowhere near as popular so you will not see as many jackass's riding them! Also standups are not as easy for anyone to hop...
yep last sunday I was at the lake and some guy had a newer SJ and put it in the back of his truck didnt close the tailgate when he drove up and the ski fell out in about 8" of water! man the guy was a real idiot! I helped him reload it and all he did was cry about how he scratched his tailgate...

carb and top end is easy and cheap! order your parts online... no one will have them her in seattle! so might as well order them and save on sales tax! Also if you need motor work done call randy at watcon http://www.watcon.com/ he is in bremerton! about an hour from Seattle.
I am in the 275 range +/- I just got the pole today... any imput on what plate and grate to run? Also may do hull extension this winter if the plate/ grate and pole dont make me happy.. but I think they will
Title says it all! I use to ride standups a lot then I went to the sitdowns and well im back and 40lbs heavier :-( I need help setting the ski up to help get the nose down I am thinking: -2" hand pole (getting today) ride plate that is shimmed in the rear, intake grate and a pump wedge...
