Well, I picked up a superjet, so we'll see if that changes anything haha. I ride the X2 better as of now, but hoping to meet some people local soon! Gonna try and hit more freerides up here in the northwest to meet those guys, but nothing like making a call or two and having people show up at the local lake...
I've been busy/out of town the last couple of weeks, and I missed this whole thread. Time to chime in. I guess maybe I should be the one guy here taking this whole "standup riders (especially in WA) are antisocial" thing personally. I'm not antisocial. The fact is, I just don't like X2 people... should I sit? Should I stand? Hmm? Hmm?
So now that you have a SJ I suppose we can be friends.
I usually end up riding solo around here, but only because most of my buddies are into the whole "they still make those things?" mode. My schedule is organized chaos, so I usually just hit the water on a few hours notice. Around here I mainly ride Steilacoom and American Lake, occasionally the Sound.
Definitely plan on some Freerides... I've only made it to one, but it was a blast. And most of the dudes are pretty social, even if you have an X2. Snackem has an X2, but I'm not sure if it even floats.
Anyhow, that's my story. Next time you manage to hit one of those lakes, fire me a PM.
...and I really don't have a problem with the X2. It's just easy to pick on.
