got back from school for fall break had the charger on for 2 days on the 2amp setting go to start it up and BOOOM! and a bunch of smoke comes rolling out from the ski. Didnt have time to check it out. I think the starter blew up. has anyone else had this happen before??

so im putting the turf down and i have only turfed once before with my footwells. i am now using underpad for the tops of my feet in the footwells. Does anyone have any suggestions or things that helped make there turfing go smoother? its just so a bitch with all the angles of the footwells...

just ride it till winter time then do it, not worth losing riding time. not like its really hurting anything for a few more months.

what kind of shims and where do i get them for the pump?

Im just finishing up a winter rebuild and about to start putting the ski back together, my question was about shimming. The only shims were on the motor mounts. and since i cut 3 in off the hull and got some glass on the pump area and the height might be different, barely though. if there were...

got the foam packed in and the deck epoxied down. hopefully will lay some glass this weekend and finish reinforcing the hood lip, sides and get the the hull sanded ready for paint and then the drain plug installed

what engine setup would make it possible for a stock sj hull to pull a flat water bf? just outta curiosity

soap helps break down the salt deposits that strait water cant get out. good thing to do in my opinion with everyflush just poor some down the hose before you attach the flush fitting

works going slow now that I'm back at school, today hoping to get the last 2 layers of glass on the hull. Then later this week get the new ride plate fittings and drain plug installed and siliconed

dont see why you couldnt, its just a matter of rerouting the hose and stuff. my friends X2 sometimes gets hot water from the exhaust and the pisser on my face randomly when jumping and i didnt want to deal with that. plus everyone has front exhaust

Just a curious question, all of the newer freestyle skis seem to be much wider than all the stock hulls. the tubbies extend the hull, but i have heard there not good for flat water. Why is this? I would have thought that by making the ski wider it would help in stability and such?
