10-15 yrs ago, just about ANY Motocross/Supercross rider would've laughed in your face if you told them thumpers would dominate the sport in the near future (prbly would've said they're too slow, heavy, etc). I think 4-stroker skis just need innovative builders/freestylers like Malone, Wamilton, et.al. to work out the kinks and make great 4-stroke freestyle machines. Remember, necessity is the mother of invention!

The only issue with four strokes is one, if you get any water in them, there done. 2 They do not run upside down!! oil will rush into the cylenders. They just can not take the punishment a 2 stroke can.

I chatted with Bob Hyde (old guy rider and all around phenomenal dude) who did personally ride the 2008 SJ. It will have the same old 701 in it with a completely redesigned hull. He did say it hooks up "too well" and is unusually glued to the water around buoys. That may be true because it's underpowered and unable to actually make it out of the water :smile:

Of course, this is secondhand information. I do trust Bob 100%.

welllll The leak I got over the weekend was. new hull with a set back pump ! the new hull is said to be narrow in the back which might make it hook up alot better too !
No names used in the leak !

Ahh who gives a faulk... were just gona have to wait a few months and find out the truth!

Im starting to think its being overrated already.

If its narrower in the back, I dont see it popping out of the water as well.

Neither, it will be the same as the current one. A recreational PWC. The only company that makes a boat for racing is Hydrospace. Also RXX and STXR could sort of be thrown in but that was limited production stuff.:biggthumpup:
