It looks like it has adjustable trim. Maybe a lock bolt than be loosened to allow set & forget adjustments?

You can see a stainless bracket bolted to top of pump that attaches to the trim ring on the bottom pic in the gallery.

It also has a fat hub swirl in a skinny hub pump like the sxr. TBM may want to do a slight alteration to the front of their pump stuffer kit to line up a bit neater. The magnum swirls everyone has been running with the tbm kit do work, but it would be nice for it to be right.

The hull seems to have the concave infront of the inlet like sxr and it may be an illusion but the actual pump duct seems to be squared off like seadoo's. That works killer!

You can see the bolt that I'm talking about (thanks ToddW).

I wouldn't be surprised if yammy used the bracket purely as a trim ring holder for legal/safety reasons, this would stop someone under trimming causing bow steering or over trimming leading to loss of control. Manufacturers have to design for retards with good legal advice these days. It dosen't mean that you cant slot the bracket yourself to suit your riding intentions........

Looks to me overall that they had a limited budget and most of that was taken with the tooling for the new hull. Better something than nothing right?

It's about time they made some changes. I think it looks like fun. I'm curious how long it will take befor the aftermarket makes a copy of this bottom. I'm also curious if blowsion is crying copyright on the sponson shape:01:

you guys are missing some subtile points on the hull
This new hull looks awesome

notce they are using an old square nose ride plate on it

it even has the old bilge fitting in it

It also has the radier reduction nossle on it as well
thats gives it a better shape and flow than the old 61x one

there is more to this than first meets the eye

the wasted in on the back of the hull where its narrower than a normal superjet hull

the sides on a superjet are normally straight up and down these ones taper in if you look at the hull from the back

is it just me or does that pump inlet look a different shape

It looks like a sxr hull to me

I noticed that too... i had to compare it to a pic of mine to see the difference... combined with the molded tubbies it give the hull a more perabolic shape...

unless it's an optical illusion because of the addition of the molded tubbies???
