They have one called the waveblaster 3, comes with a gp800 motor, very very few in the U.S. but oversea they have them!

I don't know if there is a law for how long they must produce parts. I know seadoo stops after 10 years. I believe yamaha and Kawasaki are much longer. I can still get a lot of parts from kawa for my 550 and x2, 30 year old skis.

I believe the WB3 used the WB2 hull, not the same as the WB1.

I can go back to 2006 and find threads where people are saying "I have it from a reputable source that 2007 will be the last year of the SJ".................. Then in 2007 same post..................................................................... 2017. Same Post.
Well that gives me some comfort.

Gonna ride more planted than at B1. It is much heavier. Think I remember it is heavier than the B2 also.
Do you think Yamaha is gonna release a waveblaster 1 like ski or something to compete with the spark?

They released the EX Series.
yeah but those are mini vx skis, they compete with the spark in the price and size categories. I was thinking of something that is as nimble as the spark or even lighter and more fun.

It has to be much heavier. The larger hull and also the 800 is much heavier than a 760
