Figured id have the carbon waterbox done tonight,but i was wrong.It was a combo of makeing sure i get the baffle system right...and x-games,Ricky busted his face on the high jump.He would of won if he didnt haveto get repares on his face.my target on the waterbox is 1 pound.

Just talked to paul he's comin down this weekend,so soon...still in progress with the waterbox.water is still a little cold,so theres no rush on the motor.I wouldnt consider getting in the water for atleast another month.And thats about when i plan on finishing up the ski.

Heres the scoop on the waterbox,I had to cut the factory B waterbox inhalf to see for my self how it was built.And learned a great deal how it should be.I had lots of ideas
in my head on how i wanted to do this but im going to play it safe and retain the there
nohow.The factory B box starting with inlet side,go's in and 45s to the floor.4 in in front of it theres a wall...right were u see the weld on the outside.On the lower wall theres 2
3/8 holes to let the water pass through.On the top of the wall, side by side there are 2
1in pipes that transfer the exhaust from one side to the other.The out tube angles
to the floor as u can see when u look into it.The carbon box im almost finished width is
6in round,same length as the factory.Some design changes,this post was edited on specs due to copys being made.

lol,dont even have the dock in yet...soon though.Im going to have Gil test out my,carbon waterbox and exit pipe...to see if its up to snuff with the oem and x metal.
That way ill have the DL on how it is before i get my motor in.

Was going to wait on these pics.Still in rough form,but figured u can get a idea whats going on.All the stuff is figured out lengths,angles...just got done glassing one side,once that drys ill be able to finish.The outer waterbox is getting one more rap around with carbon,then ill feel it will be able to take
a beating.All the peices consist of carbon fiber and kevlar as u can see the inside of some of the tubes and wear through spots on the outer waterbox tube from sanding.There is no importance with the hole in the center of the
mid tube assembly...its so i can possition it into the waterbox.As u can see i used bigger tubes for the inside of the waterbox,Makes sence to me...im
170cc bigger on motor size,so?We will see what Gill says when he gets it for testing.Final product pics tomorrow
