Freestyle Affordable Power......... It's COMING

Yea, but I'm just not going to have $1500+ to spend on the pump after I buy the motor and carbs. It would be on pump gas, b-pipe, and a charging electrical system to neuter it down a bit.

You can always upgrade your pump later on. You'll still make power but not 100% of it will get to the water. Kinda like spinning tires a little.

Is there a way I can contact Erik via text message or something? I want to talk to him about the 964 SS. I'm seriously interested in one. I can't make a simple phone call because I'm deaf.

If you want an answer via text, email or PM would be best. He just got his first "smart" phone and texting isnt his strongest characteristic haha

Shot you a PM after talking with Erik about your question. In a nut shell, you need at least a 148 mag for the 10 mill. The biggest stroke he recommends is the 4 mill he offers that will work with a 144 pump.

What hull? Have you given any thought to a GP1200 pump? They can be had fairly cheap online, ebay, etc. Not anywhere near as good as a mag, but better than a 144 for sure when it's being pushed by the 10mil. If you are going the 10mil route with a stock pump, go to Walmart and get a wife beater and put it on the 10mil, cause it will be b1tch slapping that 144 all around the lake! :)

Through all this development its becoming more clear as to what is working with what. I think the SS is good with the 144, the PHP cranked +4mm stroker is on the verge with the 144 and most likely will need the 148, it already needs a 17/21 or bigger (on pump gas). The 10mm has no chance of working with a 144mm pump, but if you do try, then I see no reason to go to a 10mm stroker. I'm not sure of how a 146mm pump fits in at all. I think the +4mm PHP crank along with our cylinder will offer big torque and reliability. I am not writing any other cranks out of the picture, but its right now the SS and 10mm are what the cylinders are designed around. The +4mm lets me use the stock cylinder with minimal work, and work it does. I would like to do a +5mm but that will take some different machining to the raw casting, with the price of ADR's cranks it may happen, just not yet. Yes, I know that bigger pumps will work with smaller engine combos, but listed here is the minimum I believe will work easily.

with the price of the 10 mill crank being so low and power it creates,"someone" would be wise to bring in about a dozen 148 max mags.Their surly will be a market for them in the affordability racket....

Skat 148 mag pump is $2500 so even after spending $300 in an impeller (if you buy new) its still $700 more affordable than a Skat. Nothing is cheap when building power.

You forgot to add a decent driveshaft to the Maxx pump.

Interested in an 1105 +10mil stroker? We have 10 cylinders left out of our first run of 20. Get your orders and deposits in now before they're all spoken for.

*edit* typo on price.
