Yeah, I'm with Matt, they are shorter but still have the same footprint as a kawi drain and fit on a 1" tube. The third screw allows it to fit down into the chine but it's probably still bigger than a kawi drain. I bought mine and sent them to Bobby before he plumbed everything so that there would be room for them.

Ordered a EPIC last week to replace the MSD Enhancer. I was going to go MSD TL, but thought i would try the EPIC first. Chris at ATP was very helpfull, I can't wait to try it out. Should arrive tomorrow so I hope to get a test ride by Wednesday. I think some more timing will really give my ski that snap off the bottom, like it really needs it. LOL

Got the new pole installed, New Ride plate from Toby. Now we just need some decent surf!!!

Wax posted up about using one with a TBM with no issues whatso ever.

ScottS and I ordered a pair of EPICs last week and should have them for the next ride. We both have TBM's and have been told they will work without any issues.

Keep us posted Josh, that delivery date seems too good to be true. Which Flywheel are you going to run? Do you still have the RAD you bought from me?

I just tracked it, will be here today! That's the fastest shipping on a jet ski part I've ever seen. Ordered it Thursday, it shipped Friday, it's now in Daytona Bch, FL. The UK to FL over the weekend.

I'm still running that RAD 62T flywheel, I like it! Light, works, no problems!

Talked to Chucky, will have a custom tune soon! Should really make my motor hit with my compression/avgas, etc.
#.zero sent me the MSD Enh curve, not much advance with that set up! It's going to be fun for sure!

Can't wait for the results, My hands were cramped up for 5 days after riding my 865 in the surf for the first time last weekend, I couldn't imagine holding onto the 1000, much less a 1000 with an EPIC or TL.

Will the RAD work with the EPIC? I can't recall it being tested yet so I'm sure others will be waiting to hear as well.

No one's tested the RAD yet, I think it will be okay since its a RAD 62T flywheel & not the 61X version. My thoughts are if its working great with the MSD Enhancer, why would the EPIC be any different. Right?

We will see, its on the truck ... I'll install it tonight

Got the EPIC today, its installed, software is working great in my laptop. Very nice unit, simple install. Should be in the water tomorrow afternoon, I just have to adjust my stator back to stock & close my ebox. Can't wait to see what some real timing will do!!!!

So far its looking like the EPIC & RAD flywheel don't like each other. I got spark, but I think the timing is off by a lot, it won't even pop or try to start. Going to try a stock flywheel tomorrow or maybe just install a TBM and be done with it. Its a PITA to pull my tank out!

I was pissed, I test spark before I closed the ebox up. I installed everything, adjusted the stator, double check everything, hit the start button it wouldn't even fire. Pulled the plugs, checked for spark, okay. You can here it fighting when your turning it over so I know its a timing problem. I'm checking on a TBM now, hope to get it going for this weekend!

Gee, that sux...I have a spare RAD charging flywheel and gave it a thought also. But, the lightened stocker on the 865 rev's so quick anyways, I'm not going to fight it. Plus, the little extra weight probably helps smooth out some of the "pulses" and make for a better idle down low when "surf" riding.

That 1000 will be insane! Killer setup there Josh!!

You come on over here & show me!!! LOL That tank is a Mother F!!! The limited pipe wasn't made for a Rickter with a stock SJ tank. I think I'm going to try that 4 gal Thrust tank & center mount the battery.

Thanks Bro, your more than welcome to try it at Wavedaze or Daytona...

Just ordered a TBM, it will be here tomorrow so will see what happens.
