That sounds pretty sweet! is it in a proper working condition?

Just because it's old doesn't means it isn't worth appreciating

The 144 is not much better than a Kawasaki conversion with a stock inlet.

Blowsion 144 direct bolt in still need a 144 shoe fitted and if your gonna go through all the glass work to do that you might as well just glass in a new pump tunnel and use the OEM 144 mounting. Blowsion with stock pump shoe is a big waste of time and huge waste of money. The kawi 650 pump will out perform that set up.

Danky, contact specialfx, the don of the fx mafia, he can get you setup in the right direction. You will need a 650 model Kawi bearing block with a good bearing,as well as your yami mid shaft housing. It will be machined down to fit together, this was stated earlier on this build thread. Be nice to the fx mafia.. They shall be nice to you. You be glad you did and your build will carry on nicely! -jw

hornedog...i got the driveshaft already, i know its the yamaha housing from my fx. already got the fx bearings pushed out but i cant seem to get the kawi bearings in the yamaha housing. Also my machinst doesnt want to press them in- at risk of damaging the bearings or seals

The o.d. of the bearings I mentioned above will fit in the Yamaha housing and the I.d. fits the zxi shaft. I picked mine up locally at a bearing shop for around $12 each.. Stainless double sealed. I've been running this setup for 3 years with no issues. It's been through a major :):):):) storm too. bomber setup and no machining required.

Danny, joker is talking about the same thing I just mentioned about fitting the 2 kawi/yami parts together, horndogg is right on too, I have this exact setup sitting in a box at home. I have not found the correct seals yet that fit my dshaft. I got my bearing of eBay shipped for 18bucks is stainless and fits like a glove. If anyone has a good seal distributor here in the states please let me know..
