then what could it be? could it be running that rich? because it feels pretty good so i think i'm good, but maybe not?
in fact i dont know why they dont call it the everything jet
Matt_E said:That's exactly the situation I ran into. I ran a 110 main (115 pilot) and it just wouldn't go past 1/2 throttle.
I swapped in a 125 main - perfect.
Freestyleriverrat said:I am getting ready to order some jets. What do you think get everything from 115-125 for the main and 115-125 for the pilot as well? That should cover me range wise. I definatly think that main jet is to low, not to sure on the pilot yet. I just hate tuning on a new motor, in this situtation I would rather be fat and let the motor break in over being lean when the motor needs lubrication and air the most. It is just tricky b/c it would definatly hit.
If you can't get the info you need from your builder, the bottom line is you need to give the carbs what they tell you they need by patiently tuning through the various circuits.

crammit442 said:Much less so if he has the correct jetting specs from the start. When I get my stuff back from Jetworks, even on wierd stroker stuff I'm usually within a jet size or two. If it's a combination he's built many times, it's normally within screw range. If I have a problem, I call Art and since he knows EXACTLY what my setup is in every detail he can almost always get me squared away quickly. That's why he's the man!!!
