how is the pad held down? glue'd to the hull?

i would do a strap over the chamber for sure!

from one of the waterbox mounts to one of the gas tank mounts.

It's glued down with contact cement.
Once I get the tank, I'm gonna put a strap down

Well. after wondering what the hell was going on with the timing, I found the MSD took a shizzle. I replaced with a the one in my white boat and....Holy crap!!!!!!!!! this thing sounds nasty!:hail:

I pick up some VP c-12 today because the compression was at 240 psi and about .042 squish . As soon as my Jazz tank arrives, off to the water I go!

You better be VERY CAREFUL with that kind of compression with the PFP pipe and using a MSD Enhancer!!! Just remember you basically have no timing retard, so don't take it out until you put a timing light on that thing.

Finally completed!! The final piece of the puzzle was the new Jazz gas tank!...thanks Brian!! (thrust innovations)

The Power Factor pipe doesn't allow for too big of a tank. This is the 2.3 gal tank but It may fit the new Jazz 3 gal...but I'm not sure

My thought was to move the battery on or in the bulkhead and have a bunch more room for a tank.

Yes, those are the two long ones from an SJ. I had to fabricate some custom hook placements to properly position the straps
