Other Att. Moderators ; New topic in for sale section

who want's it to be obvious? not me.

It could be an option, you want to be anonymous then so be it. Some people like that anonymity while others like to be recognized. Honestly, if no one pointed it out then I would have never known. Sometimes it's good to know who pays into the website because those are the people who are usually more serious about the sport and you may not take their words as lightly. Not only that but at least you get a little something and it shows appreciation that your paying and supporting the sport. It may help people in need of help and also maybe a way to generate more revenue.

I mean if I can have a little bling for 10 bucks it would be the least expensive think I've paid for in my whole get ski career. Well, except for what Matt_E gave me under the table at surfslam. ;)

Can I ask why you're so concerned about what subscribers' usernames look like when you're not one of them?

I agree with the seperation of parts and skis. I know we use the pre fixes but I think seperate forums would clear some clutter and be quicker to browse the section to find what you looking for.

Im not to sure on the dealers only section. Seems like more work for them. What about doing dividing for sale section into Skis, New parts, used parts?

FOR SALE SECTION
- SKIS
- NEW PARTS
- USED PARTS

No dividing brands like yami, kawi, polaris, custom, other..... thats too much!

agreed...no need to go from one extreme to the other, keep it simple.

On my guild website (before I quit EQ), the different user catagories were shown by color. The index for the colors is displayed across the bottom of the forum. www.IEGuild.net/forum

Red = Admin
Pink = Applicants (to the guild)
Green = Full member
Light blue = Guests (not applying)
Dark red = Guild Leaders
Tan = Inactive
Yellow = Member
Purple = Officer
Blue = Recruiter
Orange = Donated

The same system would probably work here... Ie...
Dark red = Admin
Red = Moderator
Member = Blue
Donator = Green
Dealers = Yellow (based on an application or something sent to admin)

Personally, I don't care a lot about this. I'm happy with the for sale section. However, changing from Yamaha tags to used tags would be more bothersome, because I'm almost exclusively looking for Yamaha parts. I'm only making some suggestions for the sake of the discussion. As a note, I had not known either that italicized members were donators.
