Sport, I'm picking up a rockered B1 hull with a 550 tank for a buddy of mine. I can throw the tank in my SJ hull and take a pic then put the SJ tank in there for a comparison pic. I will post the pics here if that helps and I can take measurements also.

See that's why this board is awsome guys like you ..... Maybe you should give a few classes to the Macon crew. Horn dog sent me some pics and measurements and have a tank on the way. Looks like 3.5 for now.

Thanks again

Figured I'd post the latest from Tweeker industries..... Made a fantastic mold of an ill fitting ride plate. I made a new one that fit as bad as the old one. Not throwing anyone under the bus.... Just The the world of after market skis.

Any way the problem is the inset on these Chans are not deep enough to a accommodate a thick lay up on the sides or the bottom.... It's a complicated mold . I can MAKE the old mold work ,but it has to be forced in to place. Even after that it does not match the strikes.

The best solution is was to cut a plate into three pieces and try to build the mold inside out so to speak. There will be a step Down where the strakes are concerned but less strake at the rear should help loosen it up a tad. I also basically deleted the strakes all togather from about an inch behind the hull..... I realized this is waaaaay to long to explain A ride plate but the chan guys know what I'm talking bout.

Dented up near the bulkhead. About at the back side of the tray area. Maybe he cut the bulkhead hole for the pipe too high and decided to dent the pipe instead of making another bulkhead ...... ?
