B-pipes dont need waterboxes. looks okay to me but i would have rattle canned the yellow stripe black. rookie builder. when he sold the green ski to that lady/kid , it didnt have a waterbox in it either. that was the green demo ski he sold as a whole. he gave them that new hull instead of the demo/proto type that they actually paid for. that should be that jetworks 5mm stroker 61x motor that was kennys? right?

i'll bet every single one has been dented in that hillbilly way, but who cares. this one, the very first one is dented and it runs fine with its 1000cc dasa. i'll bet money that trickys is dented also and he runs the XS1400 with no i'll effects. have you seen the air he gets? not the way this pro would mod that pipe, but it does work. ever put footholds in an SXR? you have to reglass the hold to miss the pipe. i'm sure if he reglassed the hold somebody would bitch about that.

This is the real game changer, Steve had the potential to make badass hulls, he made some that may last, some that cracked and robbed some, and now it seems that he has disappeared, yeah game changer...

I would say when you purchase the molds and rights to backie chan name the purchaser of molds may be responsible to reolace any contractual agreement steve hasn't fulfilled under the backie chan name

Nobody is going to spend $15k to do a bunch of free warranty work. That's going to scare people away from buying the molds and continuing the Backie Chan.

I'm sure he has more fanboys still but now that he has so many enemies they are out numbered. I remember back when I was in my one man army as the first to have issues and was assured that "Steve always comes through"

Yeah I don't doubt that after seeing the footage but at least it was salvagable and still on the water rather than being thrown away. I feel for the people who weren't taken care of
