Beach cart ramp project

That was valuejet- two different airlines.

ValuJet was grounded by the FAA on June 16, 1996. It was allowed to resume flying again on September 30, but never recovered from the crash. In 1997, it merged with AirTran Airways. The ValuJet name was so tarnished by this time that it decided to take the AirTran name.

check your sources before telling the guy he is wrong hehe

read the Wikipedia article on both - ValuJet merged with AirTran, even though Valujet was the larger company, they dropped the name in favor of using AirTrans.

whatever - get your life insurance up to date if you chose to fly with them

I won't be.

now - is the ramp done?

ok.... if people want to paypal me some cheese, I will build it. Don't wanna sound harsh, but I would like for you all to fund it. I got all my money tied up in other things

my paypal - yamaslut@gmail.com

I will purchase:

  • 3-2x12" pine boards 10-12ft long
  • I'll bevel the ends
  • install a runner down the middle of the bottom to keep it rigid and bevel the ends
  • I will purchase grip tape and some furring strips to run every 12" down the board
when I have 100$ + I will go get the stuff and build it...

Someone draw me up a print/sketch of a set of hangers I can add to the end that attaches to the wall. You know a piece of flat bar that will hang over the wall and make the top of the ramp flush wiht the wall.

someone said the wall was 9 inches thick? Im to lazy to reread the thread. That will be my donation.

Electric Mechanic out.

Ryan should not have to buy any drinks this year... (or slutty either)

It only took 130 +/- posts to get'r done

Good job guys.

I got all the materials so far... the extruded aluminum ends are very nice too...

I will build it tomorrow and post some pics... 12ft 2x12's will be great.. should be pretty easy to get skis up and down the ramp.
