Beach cart ramp project

any chance you can get them to let us keep some skis in the sand up against the wall,that would make things so much more easy not having to get all the skis above the wall or back on trailers,being able to do that made wavedaze SO much more easy for multi day use with the skis

not a good plan... what penguin said was correct. You can leave yours down there, but I'm not.

ive never seen the water make it to the wall during the tona event,im sure in a mean northeaster it might,the guards dont leave it as a option though they make you remove it from the beach. it would be great if we could make at least one to two rows up against the sea wall.think they would allow that if you talked to them ahead of time?

So is this working out good?

so far...

the ramps were pretty rigid w/o the runner under it, but not good enough. W/ the runner it is solid as hell. I rolled my bike up on it and stood on it myself (430lbs total). the ramp bowed about 1/4" -1/2" in the middle and that is w/i spec. The ends are made of extruded aluminum and are rated for 700lbs per unit. All in all, they turned out exactly the way I wanted them to. Next is adding turf and painting ryans name on it....

This thread looks like it may be funny to read. I just scrolled through to see if anyone had posted a pic before I did. This ramp is sweet! Another nice thing, walking back and forth between The Makai and The Driftwood are much easier now.
