Best Li-Fe battery I have seen so far

Now we just need a company to come up with a fully water proof, bullet proof, light weight solar charger, that we can integrate into our hoods, that way the whole time we are riding, it is still being trickle charged. Just throwing it out there....

Easily done. We're building a 20ft jetboat with 2 200hp motors and we are removing the alternators. Batteries will be charged by solar panel on rear sundeck area. PV panels don't give much charge per sq.ft so not really that useful on a jetski

Are you running a TL?

Yes, like Matt said, Msd duel channel, bigbore stroker at 190psi. Cranked as fast after pulling it out an putting gas in it to fire it up to blow the water out as when I hit the launch ramp. Seeing how my battery is in the firewall, it's got every pad around it that came with the battery. Never cut out other then running out of gas.lol

I did notice when I drained my battery pretty far that it cranks over plenty fast even when it's considered fully discharged by Shorai's standards. Something to keep in mind for battery life....

Mine showed up today.

Wow thats small! It may have been said or asked before, but these batteries are safe with regular charging ignitions? ie no big recharge fire risks like lipo's? I need a new battery, but dont want to worry about it bursting into flames for some freak reason. Size and weight specs are unreal.

No risk, I spoke with ballistic batterys and one of there dealers. They have been runing these batterys in there bikes with no issues for over a year.

The Shorai comes with a bunch of self-adhesive padding. I put a bunch of turf under the battery, tied knots in the straps, and that was enough.

In that case, I might just have to pick on of these up and see how it holds up. Right now I am running the Deka ETX9 and I have 2 of them one is on the charger while one is on my ski and I get about a 10 to 12 starts out of it. Interested to see how many starts I get out of the Shori battery.

Really? I use one with 195 compression and total loss and get two tanks off it with tons of starts and the occasional bilge pump run to clear water faster if I somehow get a lot of water in.

I don't use my battery box anymore. I just bolted a plate to the battery box location and attached some hooks (small bent L angle from lowes) for the strap. I put some 1" padding under my battery and just twisted the strap a bunch because the knot got in the way. Seems to be working well.

I know eh?
my etx9 deka lasted for 30 liters at least and tons of starts with TL, no bilge. if your not getting alot of starts, well, you know what i am going to say to take a look at........

i made my battery tray for my from alum plate, some alum channel, alum rivits, 2 threaded bolts, and a rubber strap. it was made to fit the deka but my shoria case was the same width so it works just fine with a bit of the supplied foam.
