Well, if someone were to have already been running them, and if they were to comment on them. What might their comments be?

That is if anybody has actually run one of these. ;)

anybody know if there is a clearance problem on the PV's with the factory drypipe? I don't have my ski at work to go look at.

Is DASA taking orders right now? Just wondering if I should put an order in now, so I will have the parts for next year? I heard that DASA's crank builder is 6 months out. Any truth to that?

Nice try at a slam post.

I don't know what your motivation is or what crank you are wanting or wishing you were wanting, but we have several in stock bud.

Valiant effort sir, well done.

You know, you could get plenty more with a teaspoon of sugar than you can with a pound of salt.

I wasnt trying to slam anyone! They were serious questions, I have built alot of different projects and the parts are not always available, or are a built when ordered. And I did hear that 'Crank Works' I believe, is behind. Just what I heard, I dont know if its true or not.

Been thinking of making a adapter plate for the wdk exh manifold and my dry-pipe to fit on a kawi cylinder, interested to see how big the exhaust at the flange side can go on this cylinder
Other option is to make a 'B-pipe type' manifold from laser-cut plates, 2" elbows for the runners and 2,5" elbows for the waterjacket

why not just use the factory dry or wet pipe,is this billet cylinder going to need a bigger pipe?

Available manifolds start at 44mm-id, that's why there is a conversion plate to use the Yami manifold(area equal to 48mm-id)
Ported stock kawi cylinders have the actual exhaust port area close on being equal to a 47mm-id pipe. Cylinders can be ported out to the 46mm range at the flange with no sealing issues.
Why do you think the 66E has a 50mm id? Not for it being a nice round number. 66E also has big reedvalves, also not there for show. Pity that motor is so heavy.
It becomes a matter of getting air in and out of the motors, exhausts and reedvalves are becoming the main restrictors on big cc motors(900cc+), you will have awesome bottom-end but not all the top-end you could have by using the currently available stuff.
