She loves the ported 760, it has way too much power for her but it's so linear it feels more predictable and controllerable to her. I like her having good power so it's not such a downgrade when we trade off.

I lined up a new tank last night so all you haters can relax. :)

Spoke to Dave last night and paid for my Mag pump so it ships out today. The pieces are all coming together...

I like that internal fill from Wamiltons. I looked on their site and couldn't find it though... Did you buy the 3gal tank from them and then just use that piece?

They have them in stock but haven't got them up on the site yet. Call Kevin at wamiltons for pricing.

I recently saw their billet one that slides in the oem pickup hole without any cutting and was equally impressed with it. I had a Blowsion one before and hated how the tubes blocked so much of the fill opening. Both of the Wamiltons ones have wide open fill areas so you can get your fill hose down into the hole without it popping out on you.

Started cleaning and prepping parts for assembly.

Bead blasted my SE trim system and hit it with some PJ1 Satin Black Case paint.

Also did the Midshaft and motor mounts...after pulling the manifold and boxing up my B-pipe and shipping it out to be ceramic coated... I tried to get a high gloss black coat but they told me that the colored coatings are way more brittle and won't last anywhere near as long as standard "aluminum" finish.

Getting the parts done by AirBorne Coatings out of Denver, North Carolina.

One good thing about having to wait an extra month for my hull is all the extra time it gives me to prep so the actual build will be very quick.

Good idea. I need to paint my chit too. I need to go ahead and get to work instead of waiting around surfing the x.

wait, you color matched the pump?? thats taking it to another level

When i first assembled the pump for my 07 build, the stator was the yamaha blue, the wear ring was black and the reduction and steering nozzles were natural aluminum. It was a loose end I didn't want to repeat plus the natural finish was showing signs of corrosion after just one season and I want this ski to last and look good for many, many years to come.

HA! I actually found a pic...I think we will all agree that $8 for paint and an hour with the sandblaster at work was well worth the effort.

I am sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo bored right now and still 5 more weeks to wait for my hull...Mag pump doesn't show up till next tuesday, Pipe should be finished up today but won't be here till middle of next week at the earliest. RRP tubes should be here anyday...

All my parts are prepped and ready for install...

I'm tempted to tear the 07 apart this weekend and give it a physical just for something to do...

Was that ex mani cleaned up by the ts crew? If so, would you mind laying that gasket on there and getting a pic of port openings (cylinder side, not hp).

This is my favorite build right now and that is saying alot!

better do it now... cause once the other stuff shows up that thing will be like a red headed step child.

Probably not actually, the Matrix will be done right the first time so the only way I'll be able to tinker still is to work on the 07.

This is my favorite build right now and that is saying alot!

I am honored and will try to finish the build with as much skill and taste but I must admit, I have only done certain things out of boredom and encouragement from fellow board members.
