Re-using all the old lines I just put on the donor ski 5 months ago. Red for fuel lines and blue for water.

Contemplated using the OEM fuel lines or the Riva Black to keep with my color scheme but I like the idea of clear lines for easier diagnostics.

I like both ideas, but I'm thinking the clear lines are the way to go. It allows you the quick diagnostics and doesn't take away from the black beauty sitting in the engine bay. Super clean looking build Boyer. I love clean, simple and murdered out anything. Nice. (Dick!)

If i can find a super dark clear line I will go that route. I've seen a dark purple that would work and it may be as close as i can get. If anyone knows where I can find something else that would look good, please let me know.

I started with Orange for my last build and tore it out after 2 days and ordered the yellow. It's only $50 to do fuel, primer and water so at least it's cheap to change your mind.

Dave received my Pump yesterday so I should get an update on it later today. I'm hoping it can get back to me in time for the Sebby ride so I can try out my engine in my 07 hull.

in my mind yellow never looks out of place as a fuel line because tygon (sp?) fuel lines are yellow.

Yellow versus Orange versus red...The purple might not look so bad but I have found references to some clear black fuel line, just haven't been able to track down a supplier. Parker Parflex...

dont gay it all up with colored fuel lines and hoses.........you spent how much on a new motor and new GAS TANK

colored hoses will detract from the REAL center of focus and just clutter it up.........

automotive fuel line stays pliable and lasts forever...its black

what are you really trying to "diagnose" with clear water or fuel lines?

colored lines and murdered out dont belong together :)

Precisely why I am looking. I will reuse the old lines until a suitable replacement has been found but I was really liking ScottS's ski with all black fuel and water lines which is what got me thinking in the first place.

colored lines =
Black lines = :veryhappy:
Clear Black lines = :notworthy:

Not that I plan on having any issues with this ski but clear lines are quite handy and have proven their worth to me in the past. It's not a deal breaker by any means, it's a want to have, not a must have.

I have the red fuel lines in the surf ski and they look like chit after a year

I like the stock yami fuel lines they are super durable and dont get hard or crack

Thats what I used on my superfreak after the fuel pump From the tank I used the riva yellow

Not the best looking but No issues with fuel lines
