Ya repair looks pretty good. These skis aren't even gel coated they are painted. Just got off the lake

$289. Guy did a nice job. said he would stand behind it if it fell out, but seems to think it will stick, said he sdone a lot of smc hull repair on skis. thats just a pic from iphone using tapatalk.

One day late in January 1999 I picked up a brand new 1997 Superjet. Went home at lunch to install a Riva ride plate that I ordered with the ski. Took hood off and set it upside down on the toolbox on front of my trailer. Cranked the ski. Vibrations caused the hood to fall off onto the concrete. Scratched all up. It is gonna happen.

My buddy ripped all 4 motor mounts out of his 2012 sj on the 4th, should we just get stock mounts and kenny keepers or aftermarket engine mounts? I ordered a set of keepers for myself anyways.....

STOCK!! Did the mounts rip apart clean? I have used 3M 5200 to put mounts back together and believe it or not they are as tough or tougher than new OEM!!

Failed rolls? Old mounts?

Although they are designed to be a certain way I'm sure. So you don't damage the hull probably

Get some used couch mounts, they are stronger. PM JetManiac, he might have used ones.

Entire stack of OEM mounts I have ripped and used 3M black long cure to fix them. They then last as long or longer than the first time! In Lake Erie madness too...

Glad you got your ski back, conditions look great. Wish I had a few others to ride with like you do.

Here's a photo of the bottom of my hull. Top of the ski is mint but the PO beached it a lot apparently. Rides perfect...

Took apart my steering last night, cleaned and greased it. Feels like butter now.
