did you sand off the powdercoating on Bpipe and polish it or did you have it chromed? I am trying to figure out what to do with mine as I want it shinny as well.

I ended up ceramic coating the pipe. It turned out pretty good and should look that way for a while.

man, i just stuck my motor in my gen 2... and i damn sure wish they would have kept the hood like the gen 1 lol holy crap it looks like a ton more room to play around in than mine. still looking good

the room inside the hull is nice. I also just remembered after looking at these pics, i have to put in my fuel filters ha.
As far as the FCV. not that i am aware of. there is only a spring and rubber ball in them. i guess the rubber ball could melt?
Last year once the cooling lines got warm and flexible, the FCV was rubbing on the b pipe. I dont want to rub a hole in the pipe, ruin the finish on the pipe, and just unnecessarily scratch the FCV. but still like it in that location.
Right now there is nothing in the valve. Around town and the cottage i want it a bit quiter, but want the option to put in the internals for bigger rides or when im trying to get a lil more out of it.
im sure ill be content for a while.
(and i was 2" short on that black cooling line when i was done so it was the perfect solution.

Im glad you said something, because I just realized, I think I ordered the larger filters. The guy I bought the motor from was running these same bronze element filters (correct size though) thanks! I either ordered the small size, or got the wrong parts like a few other pieces in my order. (because I didn't go with jet maniac on that particular order.ha)

okay, havent updated in a while.
(these pics are from yesterday) when Clay (bigredZ) and Shawn (skibum) were doing underpadding and getting ready to turf and i was getting all of the fit and finish things done under the hood and pole. (yes i changed the filters sanoman!).
Skibum got a lot of the turf done today (pics will be posted when it is all done this week)
I put the pump in and all of the controls are tight and right.
Here's a couple pics from yesterday and some more of the finished pump install and turf will be up by the end of the week.
we are planning on testing the ski at the end of the week and try and get some video then.
Sorry some of the pics are sideways.
ohh yeah, and we added a front food hold.
