We are running hood latches from the Kawi X2. The ones in the first pic are just discarded prototypes. I will be sending the prints out to a few machine shops tomorrow and will let you guys know ASAP.

You should drill a hole in the bracket and run some thin stainless braided wire through the loops on the pins. I've been meaning to do that since I've almost dropped the pins on my ski into the water once or twice.

Well I've got several quotes back and it looks like I would have to sell them for $185 a set shipped for it to be worthwhile. That would include one pin, bolts, washers, and latch spacer plate. I would have to order ten sets. I guess if there is any interest at that price I will make them, but it seems pricey for a set of simple hood hooks. Shortest lead time would be 2 weeks...

Finally! After an 7 month wait my TPE 1105 can in today! I took the day off work and put in a good 12 hours on it. Going to have it ready for the water by the end of the weekend!
