Great thread...took me forever to find it. Good info but everyone rides at sea level.
I'm at 3500ft
62t, b-pipe, 37cc domes, msd enhancer, oem 38's stock interals except 135 main.
Think I need to go back to stock or will I be able to tune it with the screws?

Alright got another for you guys....

Dual Mikuni SBN 46s on a ported (case and cylinder) and bored (to 84mm) 701. Also running an ADA with 760 38cc domes, factory mod pipe, r&d manifold with carbon reeds

Currently jetted

Main 115
Pilot 110
Spring 95g
N/S 2.0

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

As great of an idea as this thread is, its missing one thing. F/A type is so important to the jetting specs. For example a set of OEM 38's will need almost 10lbs pop off pressure difference to run open element filters like pro k vs stock F/A. Im not saying it wont run with the same jetting, im saying in most cases to optimize tuning there is a change needed when switching F/A.

Nuklear, you seem to be the 760 guy around here, I need to order some jets and such and need a good starting point, I'm running a unported 760 with dual oem 44s, r&d rec head, bpipe mod, oem f/as. This is all in a RN. If anyone else knows what to start with or has a set up similar to this please LMK. Thanks.

Could some one help me out here possibly please. My rn is currently jetted at

140 main
75 pilot
2.0n&s
80 gram spring

high screw 1 turn out
low screw 1.5 turns out

Mods

stock 62t bottom end
Jetmaniac/ Blue ported 82mm 61x cylinder
Ada girdled head with new 35 cc domes
V force 2 reeds
Oem 38s w/ tau ceti filters
dual cooling
b pipe w/ c4 chamber opened up to 48mm
msd enhancer
Zero lightened flywheel
stator timing marks lined up with cases

It is jetted to similar to skis posted in here with tnt chamber. Ski will fire on primer but thats it. any help is appreciated.

Nope everything was out of the ski used the fuel to start a fire in the fall. I am going to open up the carbs tomorrow and clean them out then go form there. Do those jets sound right for the mods?

sorry gti I just saw your post. With what you are running on that 760 I think you will be very surprised how close to stock your jetting will be. The gp760 that top end and carbs came off of has a pipe that is much better designed then the 701 pipe so its jetting is alot closer to what's needed for the b pipe. Depending on how much compression you actually have with that head a good place to start would be. 115p 135m 1.5n/s with 42-44psi pop off. If you switch f/a at some point you will def have to lower pop. Start one turn out on top screw and one and half on bottom but prob will have to go in on both especially top screw. You can run a 130 main and leave the top screw open more. Also experiment with taking the elbow of the air box....

Hope that helps

Yeah that does help alot, thanks. I thought I had read before that those 64x engines have staggered jetting to compensate for the 64x electronics and the compression difference, I thought I had read the rear cylinder ran lower compression. I am now running complete 62t electronics and the a/m head so compression will be the same.

They are staggered jetted and that does need to be evened out. But that was mainly because of crank twist when put in the gp or b2. They weighed a ton and had a huge pump. The lower compression and less advance on the rear cylinder ignition timing was also done for the same reason. All that needs to be removed. Wasnt trying to say you could run the crabs right off the gp just meant the jetting is very close to what came. And honestly if you did run them as they come off the gp or b2 you prob could "fix" the difference in the staggered jetting with different settings on the top screw. The jetting is only a few thousandth difference when measured with pin gauges.
