not without a big time sponsor. they'd have to close the park. Plus they're surfers, they hate us. I don't think you'll ever see it happen. It's nice to dream though. I'd love it.

maybe they'll do an after hours thing. the amusment parks in Tampa do that all the time. lease the park out after hours and run on a skeliton staff. how cool would a night time free ride be under lights with perfect waves. :biggthumpup:

I am thinking comp. but still awsome either way !
I think that the bottom material and how deep is a huge factor ?

i would start off saying you do freerides to create money for lifegurads
that might be good to start with...

those wave pools sound awsome,im guessing they have to be pretty shallow to get the waves to break. Id love to surf one when they open,to ski one would be a dream.

There is no way possible to make everybody happy, but you know what, you may be pi$$ed at first where it's at or how it's going to go down, but once you are there it will be a blast. I would love to get a ride here in va beach. We have the daytona freeride and the jersey rager, why not get one in va beach. Like some people have said allready, we are pretty much in the center. I think everything people have said on here makes good points and that it is going to help alot in getting this thing set up and being the best ride out there. I can't wait to get in there and have people motivate you to do better and compete with people of your riding skill and push each other to do better and go bigger. I'm not the best, hell I'm still trying to land the roll, but either way, win or lose, it will be fun. 5 min, 10min, 2min, I don't care. The more people there are, the less time you will have to ride if you want to fit this in one day. Or make it a weekend ride where the comp. starts on friday and saturday, and results on sunday. Thats just some of my opinion.
