Nice dude!!! Looked like a fun ride.

On the hood subject... I think the idea of bringing in the air from the hull (behind or around the ebox area) might work good. Then the hood could just be a shell with out the liner and plumbing. It would only move the intake area down a couple inches. Unless the intake was run through the pole. I still like having a semi normal shaped hood for hood tricks. Hood tricks aren't exactly the coolest thing, but they sure are fun lol!

yeah it is going to be a shell. no liner. i will play around with the air tube and where to put them. having them thru the hood would be ideal but i think i can make it work better thru the hull under the ebox. we shall see how it turns out.

I decided to install the air breathers in my hull. This is because I can route it decent and not interfere with anything. not the case if i did the samething with them going thru the hood.

I think it should keep water out while on its side and upside down.

I am trying to make a lightweight hood dunnville style. how else do you build a 4-5lbs hood? ;)
Mario you will be happy to know that I picked up a ball valve kinda like a versaplug. I got it from my pipe supplier. It was 35 bucks and is 1/2 flow. rubber seals inside. I modded it to fit pretty decent in the hull back of the hull. I can only do one side because my scupper is on the other, but it should drain while i ride thus keeping my ski dry and light. I did fix the holes in the bondline so hopefully it won't take on much water anymore. iIliked the idea but didn't want to spend money and wait for shipping/duty etc.

That anvil is heavy as :):):), i sharted twice lifting it.
