its a freaking dance floor for gay hood tricks that is for sure. the sponsons did not seem to do anything that threw me off. it felt vary stable and predictable. i only tryed it once and during that time the hull became filled with water very quickly. i still rode it a bit but did not want to risk stalling out and swamping the ski which could have happened very easily. so i will have a better review after i can run the ski dry and light.

my stock handpole has the foam in it for floatation and no room for the breather tubes. I think that it is a good way to do it, especially with an ATP type of pole tube. I did it a bit different and I am going to put some plastic under my Pro-K's to seal off the carbs and test it out a bit to see if i can swamp the engine bay by leaving it upside down or on its side. if it does swamp i will know how much time i got to swim and get to my ski before i am having to hooking up a tow rope.

I decided to install the air breathers in my hull. This is because I can route it decent and not interfere with anything. not the case if i did the samething with them going thru the hood.

.

that is very interesting... first time you have tried this? or is it tried and tested?

have you got one way valves or something in there?

no steve but if the ski is on it's side then i am hoping that the lower intake will cross up to above water levels and not flow in. same is when upside down. the pipes criss cross but also go down. if the ski has water in it above the intakes, my motor is not going to breath as well and sound like a bong. so it needs to be tested.

i like the concept

so with your flat hood ... now you need to flatten out the top of the nose :scratchchin:

running a dual tube pole, with breather tubes would be another way to go, but if this works why would you right?

the pole tube would still be a good to add in case of water in the hull choking the motor. it can grab air from there too then. It is an idea, you know ski-shack does not sell parts, just ideas. haha.

I installed some nology hotwire and silverstone non resistor plugs, going to try them out tommorrow. I had to fatten up the low screws on the trailer when i fired it up. ? , I don't know. find out tommorrow if they work or cause problems. Also got my blowsion reduction nozzle with 84mm-88mm exit rings, i took a picture of the rings lined up like the audi symbol but the battery was dying and didn't focus proper. It is a very nice nozzle design and i will get the trim ring for later, or make something to work. i don't have a trim tube installed so that can wait for winter. I also got an alum pump shoe from blowsion too. going to put that in whenever i order my mag
