Made a little adapter so I can run my nice ocd solutions coil.
Question. For the power wire. Is it best to tap it into the fuse line or add another fuse? I must have missed where you guys were adding power. 20181025_165033.jpg20181025_163050.jpg

Some run it on a switch- I just connected mine right to power without a fuse.

I am also in the middle of drawing up a 760 billet cover to sell.
Wax racing products will supply these in the future. I may also look at doing billet flywheels for the 760 as well in total loss if there is enough demand, I havent been drawing them for the reason that the stock 760 flywheel with weights out is light enough

you can machine a heap of metal off the flywheel as well. Every thing about the lump can go now as its not supporting the magnets. I normally machine down to about 2mm off the lump. I also thin it out behind the lumps as well. You can also reove some from the boss in the middle but its very clost to centre and im not sure how much there is to gain there in throttle response
Goodies just came and I had the lump ground and magnets out within 45 minutes lol. Getting this baby done today!!
Took me a second to find out best way to get magnets out but once I started pounding HARD by the edge of the flywheel they popped out pretty easy.

Agree because
I keep waiting to find out what the catch is with mine. The cost is so low, the installation is so easy, and so far it has given me zero trouble. Just can't believe it.

Very good question. It’s same style Igni-power and Advent has been making for years for Kawasaki’s. We all have read that They suffered realibilty issues. I had an advent in an sxr with no issues. But I always disconnect my ground after the day of riding.

When I bought my DASA last year I got a package deal for electronics. Came with Advent and TBM flywheel. No issues so far. And this is an older unit. Back on topic. So you have to run 760 flywheel. I wonder if I still have my old one!. May have sold it.

This thread is very active lately and 2 people just posted in WTB looking for billet 760 flywheels. Coincidence? Lol.
Initial fire up I just used throttle wheel to rev it so it was hard to tell how snappy it was. Connected cable today and it definitely feels stronger on the trailer at least! Water test Sunday.

For reference, a week ago was the last time I rode and that was with an Enhancer and 2-3 degrees static advance.
I'm running the 760 flywheel with magnets punched out, not lightened yet.
My ski always started pretty well but I'm pretty sure it starts easier with the stronger spark.
So the ride..
It is much snappier all over the place. It's honestly fun to just keep blipping the throttle because the snappiness is always right there.
It's definitely not just a "fun feeling" mod(even if it was, the snappy throttle feeling would make it worth it :) ) , I noticed more height on my flips and got the closest to 2 flips in a row today. That's without customizing the curve to my setup either, just plugging in waxes curve. I've only got about 30 minutes on it but I am very impressed with this setup. It was like adding a head or a prop honestly.

Got some more time on it today. Before this ignition, I made it about 2/3rds around on my double flip attempt and had nowhere near adequate height to get it the last way around.
Today, I nosed in and rode out of my first double attempt
This ignition rocks.

I installed mine in a bone stock b2 just to see the reliability of the zeel. I ran it direct to power inside the box with no fuse. Its been about 2 months or so with battery still connected and ski still starts right up with no problem at all. Battery is starting to get weak but it was that way at the beginning of the season. This is a "Gen 1" Zeel as well. Very impressed so far.

I seriously doubt the cdi is adding much power. most of the gains you feel are from the 760 flywheel with the magnets busted out. getting rid of the magnet weight is going to be a very noticeable gain in snap. when I busted the magnets out of my 04sxr ten years ago, I noticed it too. I recently went from a total loss setup to and enhancer setup with a jetinetics flywheel on a tricked out 701 and basically noticed nothing to speak of. this ignition is not going to turn a turd into a beast. being programmable is great. you can add timing for throttle response and lose timing at high rpm so you don't burn your junk up.
