Alright yall convinced me. I have a spare wheel so I'm gonna knock the magnets on it. I'll get it lightened over the winter.
Question.... Let's say the zeel fails at some point during a ride. Will an Oem 760 CDI work halfway decent with the 3rd lobe shaved off of the flywheel? I know wax tested one on a stand and it'll run with an Oem CDI but haven't heard of anyone water testing with one.

Or you could start with magnets then knock them out if you want more response. It would be interesting to get the A-B comparison while using the same ignition curve.

Do we know if any US distributors will be getting there hands on the PCI-2? I plan on picking one up this winter and would rather buy from someone in the states.
I'm not a distributor but usually order a couple at a time to save on shipping and have one or two extra on hand.

There is no dealers in the usa as far as i know. You have to buy direct from zeeltronic. If there was a dealer it would just become more expensive

what's the weight comparison to an MSD TL flywheel and a lightened stocker with magnets knocked out? also do you have a chart of what the "wax"curve is? Im considering trying this on my 1105 on pump gas.. and a few other small motor flat water skis im building. unless there's a plan for a direct replacement 62t cdi..

An msd flywheel is still a fair bit lighter then a lightened stocker with no magnets. You could always use a lightweight charging flywheel or the jstl system was a zeeltronic brain setup with its own trigger system and used flywheels already on the market

I was just curious more than anything.. I like "simple and works" and easy to change parts lol..

The red curve- it’s a safe and effective curve that is still more aggressive than an msd enhancer

I started with that curve and then switched to a more aggressive curve myself.

Have you measured it, I didn't think it was that much different by the time you had machined all the steel down as well.

When I designed the curve i kept it quite mild so i didn't/ couldn't do any damage there is more to be gained for sure. Thats the awesome thing about the zeeltronic
