DIY Total loss or MSD TL upgrade box 270USD?

When the small "Lump" is ground from the Flywheel, will the Flywheel become unbalanced?

I s the "Lump" ground flush or all the way thru leaving a rectangular hole?
I have 2 flywheels, one each way. #zero did the blue one and PowerHousePerformance did the other.

PHP sent my zeel with 2 curves for my php780. Here is how I am switching it. View attachment 372383
They all come with "2 curves"... I am however curious to know if these are the 2 standard curves (wax curve&generic) or if PHP has loaded you 2 different curves.

Attached are the two "standard" curves most are coming with.

I don't want to take credit for these. We have Alex do them and he does great work. We literally pass them on with our kits at the same cost you can send them out of convenience. We have him do them charging and TL, and extra face drilling for Max weight loss. The zero ones look a little nicer with the paint but Alex's weigh less. My personal vote is give me the lightest not the prettiest.

How are you liking these on your 900cc+ engines?

Got everything buttoned up and reinstalled

Hit the start button... nothin... I must say, there is very little room to get to my ebox. Anyway, long story short...

index.php

Main fuse (not zeel) was blown, put another in... pop... through quite a bit of trouble shooting this guy ends up being the culprit. It is shorted out.

Swapped the one from my old ebox in and now she cranks... was that the voltage regulator?

After the major pain in the arse it was to get this ebox out... I am eliminating the curve wiring and moving the fuse for the zeel so I can get to it easily and I can also disconnect it for storing.

Attacking a slightly different animal with a zeal this summer. I am running a Zealtronic on a KV997. The KV flywheels and pickups are compatible. Havent had it in the water yet but she is running really nice on the stand.

There are some changes from the commonly used 760 set up.

The Static Angle of the KV997 is 40*

The wiring is as follows.
Zeal Wire=Krash Wire
Red=Red
Orange=Orange
Blue=Blue
Black/White=White
Green/White=Green/Yellow
Black=Common Ground in ebox
Brown/Green=Ignition Map Switch (optional)

Also the peak advance of the KV997 stock CDI is 28*. I am starting out using the wax curve wth its peak of 32*.

Sharing to help the collective mind. Any constructive advice or comments are welcome.
