In regard to Blowsion . . . . Blowsion has recently been bashed un-mercifully in several threads on this site, one in particular that has "energizer bunny" like tenacity. We all need to be careful how we speak our minds about vendors, irregardless of how poorly they have handled a matter. If we expect them to support the sites we frequent we may need to be a little more diplomatic. . . . . . Post your complaint and let it be . . . .

I really enjoy this site and would miss it if it were gone . . . . . it just may be time to change course a little . . . . . . . JMO

Requires zero energy from you Darin. I volunteer to upload and handle any graphics submitted by users willing to let the X make a buck off their ski related designs. You set the markup at 2 or 3 bux a shirt and you sit back and collect money, and/or buy your own products in bulk to sell at events. It's so simple it's scary.

My point exactly . . . . . I do agree Blowsion handled it poorly . . . . . . the issue was just beat to death . . . . . . It seemed more like more of a personal vendetta than creative criticisim . . . . IMO . . . . .but let's not get this thread going that direction . . . .

I guess I missed that Ronny. . . . . oh, well maybe I added a visual to it and it'll be considered again . . . . . . it seems like a real simple way to raise some funds . . . . .

Hey crocket, there really is not difference in a web site as far as advertisers go........ if we went for profit we would charge around $150.00 per month like PWCToday use to be....... We chose not to go that route, so we charge much less.......... The site survives off Member Donations and a few Advertisers also..... Like Darin said, we had hoped to bring in enough donations and Banner Ads so that we could actually give back to the members at freerides and such, has not happened as planned, but, such is life...... If we had to we could cover some expenses personally, I think Darin paid out several hundred dollars at first..... We do what we have to do. As mentioned before, several business post here all the time, trying to promote their business or they just post like the rest of us or Both........ We have asked them if their budget permits to please try to help out, If they cant, fine, maybe in the future they may be at that point and could give back.........
Many people over the years have asked, "why not make it where you have to pay to post", we have never believed in that style, Just like we have not taken the approach where you have to register to view the post, we want the site to be open to everybody.

I think its kind of a chicken and egg thing for guys who post here trying to increase their bussiness,I personally do not advertise anywhere because I own a small company and stay busier than I want to most times.For those people that do post here trying to increase their bussiness I would say that if you couldn't get back the small amount you would spend on advertising here that you arn't doing a very good job of running your bussiness.Thats the way I have always approched advertising costs.How many additional customers would you have to bring in to cover the costs of your advertising,well for I think for $25.00 a month not too many.I also do not think it is right for the founders of this website to have to foot the bills every month .2 cents added.

I think the point is chris is sending people to the X through his vid. mutual advertising. I don't think I've ever seen an x banner on blowsions site.

why not give free advertising to everyone charlie? why stop at blowsion?

X-H2O did not drag blowsion through the mud......., That was a thread started as feedback by a member (Lets not start that crap up again, it is over), Blowsion has made it clear that they are not going to support the X, that was from months back, nothing to do with that thread......

I'm guessing your are asking this question because someone is mad they are paying for advertising and chris is not. It's nice of you to stick your neck out for someone else.

Charlie, have you seen the Addiction? At the very beginning it starts out with a huge X-H2O sign... all through the video is mentions us..........
So, trade in Advertisement if you want to look at it that way.......
