I raised the pop to 19 with a 95 gram spring on my 2.3 n/s. I still have a hesitation just off idle at one turn out. I turned the pilot out and tested and could not get it out. I went as fare as 1 ¾ out and the ski falls on its face and died at that setting so I am now about 1 ½ turns out with the hesitation. If I feather the throttle while I am riding and then pin the gas it does not hesitate. I have to do that on nose stabs and such.

Thanks,

is it lean bogging or is it rich

Really not sure, I was thinking rich due to me having to feather the throttle to get it out. I guess I just need to go one way or the other with the pilot and see what happens.

i would say if it needing you to feather the throttle that its lean

I believe it did ran better with the pop at 15. I had an 80 gram spring in for that with the 2.3 n/s.

This is what I posted about that. below

(The ski ran quite well last night. I had no hesitation but it seemed to bog just off idle. A couple times it bogged and fell on its face in the no wake zone. I am thinking I need to up the pop to 17 remember right now it is at 14-15 psi. I have a 120 P 105 M and a 2.3N/S with 80 gram. This has been a great improvement.)

is it bogging as in stopping
or is it 4 stroking when you grap the throttle
is is better than it was at 17 or worse

Better than the 17 was. Don't know what 4 stroking is, loading up? I was thinking I could go either way with the Pilot up to 125 or down to 115 and note the outcome to give you more information.

Have you tried a 2.0 N.S. ??? Mikuni or Group K said to run the smallest N.S. you can, I think it helps the throttle response..........

I had a 2.0 in with 95 grams but went to lower pop and spring combo so that is why I used the 2.3. However I now have a 65 gram and the 2.0 in my collection if we think this would be good I could try that. That is noted to give me a pop of 18 though and a pop of 17 did not work well.

BK I also have that start button on. THANKS

I get all my goodies from JSS. I know he has been quite busy I am also thinking they may be lost on the mail room floor. I am also waiting on some parts for Katie's ski. we really want to ride both superjets this weekend. Katie needs to practice stabs on her ski so I can have mine back. I am also tired of riding with a hesitation!

I think the post office John uses has long lunch breaks or something. Stuff he sends me via USPS takes forever, too.

Wax,
I put in my 125s and that helped greatly getting the hesitation out I need to open up the screws a little on the low end and try to get some snap in this engine. I didn’t have a lot of time to play with adjustments. I did notice when I went in from one turn out that the ski hesitated and when I was 1 1/8 turns out it was much better but feels a little boggy on low end. Just does not have the snap that it should. When I give full nail the throttle from idle it just doesn’t have the hit. I have to go out of town this weekend but will play with the screws the following weekend. I need to get the hard hit back. I may order a few more jet sizes up just to have them ready if needed. I do feel I am on the correct path now though.

I am thinking I may also fill the cross over like freestyle geek had mentioned.
