Ok finally, got the motor in and bolted down..didnt need any shims.
Here are some pics of the placment of the motor. Next step getting the gas tank fastened down, bat tray, msd equipment, rail turf.

sorry the laptop craped out. Had to buy a new one.. will be posting more pics down to just the bun pipe being reworked to fit the hull. Eric sent up a resinator that will be going inline. A waterbox is a nogo with this pipe...lol.

well got the kawi 550 strap setup and shortened it, then fabed up a hook for it to latch to. The hook will be welded into place and the plate will be mounted down. The steer nozzle was shortened to malones specs as seen.

Turf 100% done finally, Msd mounted to carbon plate i made and Bun pipe all fabed up but didnt get pics yet..prob put them up tomorrow.

Just waiting on my trim lever and my steer cable, working on a scoop grate right now. Spent some time last night double checking the air gap for the fly to pickup, its dead on with the closes clearance. For the oil in the pump i went with klotz synthetic. soon soon...

That uses a Kawie SXR style pump right? So why did you put oil in it? I always just popped the seals off the bearings and greased them with marine grease.

What? YA its a kawi style but buy far a stock unit. Its a custom setup. Its will spin faster with oil to.:mischievous:

kawi 750sx cable came in today. Figured the 750 would be a bit shorter than the sxr?
I do know the part # are diff.

How's that hold up? And how's it do for holding the hood on?

Works just like it would on the oem 440/550's. Malone has been useing it and its been working fine. I just took a foot out of the strap and made new holes.

ya, my friends -4 sxr. last time i road was 4 weeks ago...i wish i had more friends that
had jet skis. Plan on changing that when mines done, freerides, roadtrips, events ect.
