This is what matters for the type of power we are looking for.
Power made before 4500 follows displacement very closely for a given port height. On a ski this is throttle response only. Between 20%-30% of the power and thrust comes directly from the pipe, more so with higher ports.

Yes, this is where the 155 pumps start working well.

Yup, I found that out with this motor. Today I turned the timing back up to ET's specs that he used on the dyno and it really woke this motor up. People thought it was snappy at WF, it's even more so now. First flip I tried it launched so hard my feet came right out of the holds, I went right over the bars and the ski landed behind me. It's spinning the 13/19 in the 155 no problem, I'm thinking about going up a pitch so it's not so crazy down low.

How did you come up with your port timing specs?
From years of knowing, Starting on the dyno i started low and worked up wanted to see until i started to lose down low then when back to the last setting to a happy medium of broad power.

The EX ET manifold is also a huge gain also in the mid from 5000 to 6500 a gain of 15 ft lbs from 5300 to 6000 The HP # is not included in all the above power listed in this thread. I will be starting a new thread when the time is comes and all the gains.

Cool, good deal.
Can you make that manifold to fit Polaris cylinders...?
