dude from experience..... you need MORE than 1/2 a gal for 6 yards lol i went through like 2 gal with 7 yrd or 1708 biaxle

.... you may be using too much resin because 2 gal sounds like extreme overkill. i still have like a quarter of my 1/2 gallon kit from last year. I glassed my other sj, a flat deck 550, and all sorts of little things thru the year. I dont expect to need nearly all 6 yards, thats 75sf of cloth.

Has anyone tried to trim everything above the red line in my pic (sorry not much of an artist)

This would make a uniform width all around the rail. I think it would look kewl.

here is how made that front end. The first pic shows how i made glassfiber part that fits inside the rail. That because i want to make that front end as stiff ass possible and with minimum weight gain... Yoy can also make that front end modification out of carbon. But i think you had to make first part that is similar. Or use foam.

Looking good, I'm on pace w/ you guys also, but have not started on the hood yet.
I found out a pressure washer does nothing to the stock foam but make it wet.
What kind of foam or flotation are you putting back under the tray?
