Freestyle First Superjet build...

So the pad is rubbing on the handle bars and when you go to tighten the screws for the mounting points, before you tighten them they sit about 3/4" away from the tabs on the pole. anyone know what kind of pad will fit this? Or is anyone going to Torch lake with an extra RN pad that will let me see if it fits???

looks like SN pad with an AC racing pole. Mine did the same thing. I ground the metal away in the front where the the plastic hooks under the metal so the pad slides farther forward.

I also cut my pole where the red lines are in the photo and re tapped the holes to move the chin pad farther forward on the pole.

Plans for this winter:

1) New pipe.
Running my pipe works, but it is a beast and every bitof 30 pounds DRY. Would like a B-pipe, but with funds being tight, i would notmind a coffman one bit.
And with that get my dual cooling hooked up. I usually run in smaller inlandlakes where 75-80 degree water is not unusual.
2) bore jugs .020 with new wiseco pistons.
3) port the sleeves
4) reinforce under the pole bracket (fiberglass)
any pics / advice as to doing this on a square nose???
5) chop 3" off my aluminum pole.
6) if all goes good and i can get a cheap a/m waterbox, i would also like toditch the OEM.

Btw you may want to give that pipe a good looking over for cracks in the area's where the power coat/finish is delaminating, mine delaminated and cracked across from coupler end, so on your pipe it was the area thats delaminating closest to the large couple end.
