Holy crap putting on a solid piece of glass is a huge pain the arse! I ended up having to roll it and un roll it as I went from back to front, and use a razor in a few spots to get rid of air pockets where the glass would bunch up. Just have the sides and under the tray to do next!

Injected the bondline where it meets the firewall with a syringe this morning and then put two layers of 12oz over it.

Move the ski this evening to put some more glass on it and noticed a decent amount of resin on the ground under neath it...
Pro Tip: If squirting resin inside the bond line, tape up the outside of the bond line first... Going to Inject the bond line from the outside next.

Inside of the tray:
Firewall - Filled in all of the gaps with WC 404 filler/epoxy mix followed by 2 layers of 12oz along the

Cracks and leaks - 4 layers of 12oz and 1 layer of 4oz s-glass. Last layer of 12oz covers the entire side of the ski.

Rest of the tray is a mix of 1-3 layers of 4oz and/or 6oz depending on if I think the area might be prone to leaking.

Would there be any value in painting on a thin final coat of epoxy after the glass is dry to make sure no water is going to leak/weep in?

Bit a panic when you see this under your ski and know that you haven't spilled any.

Injected 80mL of epoxy mixed with 3m Microspheres into the outside of the bondline and not even close to having it full. I think it is all going into the voids in the top deck. Mixing it thick enough that it takes pushing the plunger with both hands to get it out of the needle.

I might switch over to filling it with silicone and topping it off with a layer of 5200.

Other then the hours spent sanding in the beginning it hasn't been to bad. Much more work ended up having to be done then what I was expecting though.

Measure twice cut twice.. lines are ran and 5200 is drying.. except the scupper. The HD one way valve weighs a ton so I ended up not using it and my pvc was 1/2" short...

1/2 pvc for the steering tube
3/8 pvc for the trim tube
3/8 stainless for cooling
2" pvc for the scupper tube
2" for the exhaust and ditched the bling that goes around the exhaust tube and hung it out the back a couple inches. This gave me room to run a drain plug. Hopefully I never need it, but better to have it and not...

Drilled all the holes a hair small and sanded them so everything is tight. Then put a generous amount of 5200 around everything.

Major progress, great detailed write up.

Throw in a third cooling line if the tray is still open, u never know what u might need it for...

Hope to see u on the water soon.
