I guess that Is on a square. I run no foam, I have one layer of Kevlar in the sides of the tray...... and one layer or Carbon that ties together my footholds.... other then that all I have is two layers of some carbon/kevlar/glass hybrid 4" strips that I used to put my tray back in after cutting it out...... peoeple told me it couldnt be done :bs2: People also thought I was crazy for dumping a bunch of weight.... untill they picked it up at the beach:haha: :Banane01:

urr: :woot: My boat IS SOLID! I can honesly say it has been tested well:biggthumpup: I have came up short on plenty of roles.... and a couple of Backys as well:Banane01:
yes, a sqaure, is the topdeck and tray strength greater on a round then a sqaure?
Also, I understand the advantage of having nothing being weight, however I saw one person that used bracing for strength instead of straight reinforcing. That may be even lighter, theres a reason they do it on gliders. If I were avoiding foam and going to reinforce, I would avoid the ping pong balls and whatnot, and come up with a system to mark where the boat goes down (floatie attached to a long rope ha!). However, the advantage to having no foam, would be when it gets 'waterlogged' you just drill a hole, let it out, seal it up and your done! However, if you seal is well, I doubt you'd ever run into that, as 5200 and epoxy has a pretty good durability span.
